PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. (Jan. 14, 2013) - Takashi Sonoda, a 30-year veteran of the company, was recently appointed president of Rinnai America Corporation.

Sonoda previously managed a 400-person staff at the company’s Brazil facility and most recently served as president of Rinnai R. B. Controls Co., Ltd., in Japan.

“Takashi brings a unique perspective. His extensive global industry background, strong management skills, and logistics and sales experience are valuable additions to the Rinnai America team,” said Yuzo Yoshida, general manager of overseas business headquarters at Rinnai. 

In addition to welcoming a new president, Rinnai America is growing its advisory committee. Phil Weeks, previously the COO of Rinnai America, recently transitioned to the Rinnai America Advisory Council to help support the expansion of the company’s North American operations.

“As we begin 2013, we are extremely optimistic about the future. With the guidance of Takashi and Phil, we have the right leadership in place to ensure a successful future,” added Yoshida.
