PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. (Sept. 26, 2013) – The multifamily industry needn’t look any farther for the perfect boiler—Rinnai America Corporation today is introducing the E50C Condensing Combi Boiler. An additional product to the successful E Series lineup, the new boiler is the ideal solution for residential home-heating and water-heating needs.
Touting the highest efficiency of any combi boiler on the market, the E50C is more cost effective to install, as it does not require primary secondary piping for common installations. When compared to similar boilers, the E50C requires less maintenance—an inspection every two years, or 4,000 hours, and a service check every four years, or 8,000 hours.
“We’re filling a void in the multifamily market. This new boiler benefits residents, building owners and the installer—a win, win, win for the industry,” said Tracy Young, product manager at Rinnai.
Compatible with a 1/2-inch gas line, the new E50C boiler can be fueled by natural gas or propane and is designed for residences with up to 1.5 baths. The E50C boiler has a Btu input range from 13,600-50,000 and only requires a minimum gas pressure of a 3-inch W.C.
Residents will appreciate the boiler’s energy efficiency—a 95.6 percent AFUE—which translates into lower monthly utility bills.
Rinnai E Series Boilers
Rinnai E Series Boilers are designed for apartments with smaller domestic hot-water requirements—one to two baths. Two models in the E Series use an integrated single-speed boiler pump and three-way valve that provide domestic priority and supply a home with heat, as well as continuous hot water. The proprietary stainless-steel heat exchanger is unmatched in the industry for performance and durability. E Series Boilers are engineered to offer residents the perfect heating solution. Unlike most traditional boilers, Rinnai E Series Boilers are wall hung offering additional space savings and installation flexibility. All E Series Boilers are approved for venting lengths to200 equivalent feet and comply with the SCAQMD low NOx requirements.
